About
My passion starts when I made my tourism degree. My first contact with foreign people was in 2010 in Greece, I did my intership there for 3 months. I had been around the world onboard a luxury cruiseship for three years. The guests called me " The Butlerish". I meet people from all the continents, I even had been in Antarctica. Now I would like to show you the best of Portugal, the country where I born, in specific the North of Portugal. I´m food, beer and wine lover, and I´m in the right place to profound my desires. This doesn´t make sense if I can´t share with you. Happiness is sharing. I invite you to join me in the activities that make me happy every days. All the experience is made with love, with fresh and local ingredients. I had some inspirations from my trips around the world. I´m very enthusiastic to try new things, I´m adventurous, always ready to explore. My roots are portuguese but my inspirations are universal.

Braga historic center and Picnic in Bom Jesus
9.00 am We meet in front of Arco da Porta Nova ( the entrance of the city)
we will visit Sé de Braga ( one of the oldest Churches in Europe), after that we will continue our walk to one of the beautiful gardens " Santa Bárbara " and after the main avenue " Avenida da República", we will go through Circo Theater and Raio Palace, where you can appreciate the blue and white portuguese tiles.
12.00 o´clock we will go to the hill, Bom Jesus do Monte, recent Unesco World Heritage site.
You can choose to go by stairs or by water funicular ( the only one active in Europe, that´s moving by water).
On the top you can enjoy the wonderful view to Braga City, and all the gardens in the surrounding area, as well the caves and the architecture of the Sanctuary.
After this I will invite you to go for a walk in the nature until I will prepare the highlight of our experience, the picnic nearby the lake.

Hiking with Sofia Butlerish
Sistelo-"Portuguese Tibet"

We would like to offer to you the most close experience to nature as possible.

From Vilela Bridge to Sistelo Village
12km, about 2 hous walking.
​
It´s a trail along the Vez River in the countryside.
​
We could see cows, mills, and small waterfalls.
​
When we emerged to Sistelo Village , the scenario is green, and about 10 granit houses, Sistelo Castel where the Visconde lived, the chapels, one small caffee and one restaurant.
